NDT Level III

Position Summary:

• TUV SUD South Asia Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced ASNT Level III NDT professional for a full-time, regular position in Pune, India. The role involves providing technical leadership across non-destructive testing activities, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, auditing NDT procedures and personnel, and overseeing training and certification activities.
• The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority for NDT methods, support complex inspections, and maintain the documentation and qualification records required for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and Compliance
• Conduct audits of NDT procedures and personnel to verify compliance with applicable requirements.
• Ensure adherence to ASNT, ISO, API, ASME, and customer-specific standards.
• Review inspection reports to verify technical accuracy and compliance.
• Training and Mentorship
• Develop and deliver NDT training programs.
• Mentor Level I and Level II NDT personnel.
• Assess personnel competency and support their technical development.

Personnel Certification:

• Certify Level I and Level II personnel in accordance with applicable ASNT guidelines.
• Maintain personnel qualification and certification records.

Technical Leadership:

• Serve as the technical authority for assigned NDT methods.
• Develop and approve NDT procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support for complex inspection activities.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and review NDT manuals, procedures, and inspection reports.
• Ensure technical documentation meets audit, quality, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• ASNT Level III certification in the specified NDT methods.
• 8–12 years of experience in the non-destructive testing industry.
• Experience in NDT audits, personnel training, and certification activities.
• Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
