Position Summary
MISTRAS Group is seeking qualified ASNT Level II NDT Technicians certified in MT, PT, UTT, and VT methods per MIL-STD-271 for long-term, full-time work in Jacksonville, FL. Candidates should have prior Level II or sufficient Level I experience to certify as Level II under SNT-TC-1A. Technicians will work with minimal supervision and must be familiar with relevant codes, standards, and inspection techniques. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses are available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate NDT equipment.
- Conduct NDT inspections using MT, PT, UTT, or VT methods.
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results.
- Document findings clearly and accurately.
- Direct the work of Level I technicians and trainees.
- Apply knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Work independently and resolve issues efficiently.
- Analyze and present technical data effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an NDT technical program aligned with SNT-TC-1A.
- Previous certification as Level II or sufficient OJT hours as Level I for certification to Level II (in UT, RT, MT, or PT).
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-271 standards.
- Industrial Radiographer Certification Card (preferred for RT).
- 40-hour Radiation Safety Course (preferred for RT).
Required Documentation

- Proof of formal NDT classroom training
- Previous Level II certifications and/or OJT logs
