Position Summary:-
Testia, a subsidiary of the Airbus Group, is seeking NDT Level 2 Ultrasonic Technicians (UT2) to support the expansion of its non-destructive testing activities in the aerospace manufacturing sector.
Based at the Dugny agency, the technician will work at the Airbus Helicopters site, primarily inspecting composite-material components used in the latest generations of helicopters. The position involves working directly with a team of NDT technicians and experts on the client's production lines.
The technician will perform ultrasonic inspections in accordance with customer specifications, contribute to inspection quality and certification activities, and support the training and development of other inspectors. The role also provides opportunities to develop versatility in other NDT activities and methods through Testia's varied projects.
Responsibilities:-
- Perform ultrasonic inspections in accordance with customer specifications.
- Validate technical reports and/or inspection qualification documents.
- Participate in customer and certification audits.
- Support the maintenance of applicable approvals and certifications.
- Ensure satisfaction of internal and external customers.
- Help guarantee the quality of airworthy components supporting flight safety.
- Participate in training new inspectors in ultrasonic inspections.
- Support the maintenance of the team's competencies.
- Work collaboratively with NDT technicians and experts on Airbus Helicopters production lines.
- Contribute to the development of versatility in other NDT activities and methods as opportunities arise.
Qualifications:-
- NDT Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing in accordance with EN4179 (FrANDTB-COSAC) for the aerospace sector.
- Knowledge of composites, aircraft/helicopter structures, quality control, or dimensional inspection is advantageous.
- Good command of computer tools.
- Intermediate written English sufficient for working with customer specifications.
- Training and previous experience are welcomed by Testia.
- The technician should demonstrate dynamism, enthusiasm, autonomy, rigor, versatility, proactivity, strong interpersonal skills, and good writing abilities.
Requirements:-
- The position is offered on a permanent CDI contract.
- Working hours are daytime or 2x8 shifts.
- The position is based in Dugny (93440).
- Occasional travel within France or internationally may be required.
- The position is available as soon as possible.
- Compensation is based on the candidate's profile and/or experience and includes a monthly NDT bonus.
- Annual compensation is stated as €30,000–€40,000 gross over 13 months, plus the monthly NDT bonus and Testia benefits.
