Radiography, Ultrasonic AWS CWI

Position Summary:

• Dynamic Non-Destructive Testing Inc. is seeking a qualified Radiography, Ultrasonic and AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) professional for a full-time, on-site position in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves performing non-destructive examinations using radiographic testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT), evaluating inspection results, preparing technical reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.
• The successful candidate will also coordinate with project managers and client representatives, support inspection planning and documentation, and contribute to training, procedure development, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic testing (RT) and ultrasonic testing (UT) examinations on welds and base materials.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards.
• Interpret weld and material indications and evaluate inspection results against applicable acceptance criteria.
• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure NDT activities comply with relevant codes, safety guidelines, and client specifications.
• Follow radiation safety requirements, equipment operating procedures, and site-specific safety practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and client representatives regarding inspection requirements, schedules, and documentation.
• Support training activities and assist with the development of inspection procedures when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of NDT practices and inspection processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Technical Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and related NDT methods used for welds and base materials.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials or equivalent welding inspection experience.
• Practical knowledge of welding processes, weld symbols, applicable codes, and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret NDT results, evaluate indications, and prepare clear inspection reports.
• Understanding of radiation safety, safe equipment operation, and relevant site safety requirements.

Certifications and Industry Experience:

• ASNT Level II or Level III certification in RT and UT may be relevant to the role.
