Position Summary:
- Conduct non-destructive examinations (NDE) to assess materials and components for defects and discontinuities.
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results, preparing clear, detailed reports on findings.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and quality assurance teams to provide expert insight into inspection outcomes.
- Ensure that all testing and inspections comply with project procedures, client specifications, and relevant international standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all inspections and test results.
- Participate in inspection and surveillance activities at supplier sites, ensuring adherence to Intertek and client quality expectations.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDT inspection.
- Certified in UT, MT, PT, and RT as per ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of casting and foundry processes, including welding, defect identification, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with nuclear standards and related industry codes and requirements.
- Proven experience conducting inspection and surveillance activities at supplier or manufacturing locations.
- Proficiency in technical English, with the ability to interpret specifications and prepare formal reports.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
