Position Summary:

TÜV SÜD is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspector to perform high-level inspections across a variety of materials, components, and structures. The individual in this role will apply a wide range of advanced NDT techniques to evaluate structural integrity, ensure product reliability, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards for client assets. This position plays a vital role in maintaining regulatory compliance and supporting TÜV SÜD’s mission to deliver technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced NDT inspections using methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Eddy Current Testing (ET), and others based on specific project requirements.
  • Develop detailed inspection plans and procedures aligned with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout inspection activities.
  • Accurately interpret inspection data to detect defects, anomalies, or areas of concern in various structures and materials.
  • Produce clear, comprehensive reports that document findings, procedures, and technical recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices during all inspection activities.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to communicate results, technical insights, and address queries.
  • Stay updated on emerging NDT technologies and participate in continuous training and development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or immediate supervisors.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A college diploma or degree in Non-Destructive Testing, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Certification in advanced NDT methods such as ASNT Level II or III (or equivalent) is required.
  • Proven industry experience conducting a variety of NDT techniques, preferably in a lead or senior inspection capacity.
  • Strong familiarity with industry standards and codes such as ASME, API, and ASTM.
  • Proficiency in the operation and calibration of NDT equipment and associated software.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and technical reporting.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and best practices in the field.
