Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT using various techniques, including PAUT, UT, RT, MPI, and PT/DPT.
- Interpret and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all testing activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address and resolve inspection-related issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to applicable codes and standards such as ASME, API, and AWS.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Control radiation areas and ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians or assistants as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on NDT inspection experience.
- Valid Level II or III certifications as per job requirements.
- Proficiency in PAUT, UT, MPI, DPT, and RT.
- Strong working knowledge of NDT tools and equipment, including ultrasonic, radiographic (X-ray/Gamma ray), magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant systems.
- Competence in using calibration tools, PPE, and reporting software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
