Position Summary:

The Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Expert – RT3 is responsible for supporting and advancing radiographic testing activities within the aeronautical manufacturing sector. Working closely with operational managers and Level 3 specialists, the role focuses on technical training, procedure development, audit support, equipment qualification, and technical assistance for both internal teams and clients. The position supports operations at Testia facilities and client sites across France and internationally while contributing to the continuous improvement of NDT processes and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical training of Testia inspectors and client personnel.
  • Draft and validate inspection procedures and work instructions in accordance with aerospace standards.
  • Provide support and oversight for workshop NADCAP accreditation activities.
  • Participate in the implementation of new inspection facilities and products.
  • Evaluate and qualify new inspection equipment.
  • Prepare for and conduct internal and external audits related to NDT activities for production lines and maintenance operations.
  • Conduct competency assessments for Level I and Level II certified personnel.
  • Recommend improvements for workshop operations and client-site inspection activities.
  • Provide technical support to clients regarding NDT-related issues and documentation.
  • Collaborate with operational managers and technical teams to enhance inspection capabilities and overall expertise.

Qualifications:

  • NDT Level 3 certification in Radiography (EN4179 / FrANDTB-COSAC) for the aerospace sector.
    Additional Level 2 or Level 3 NDT certification is considered an asset.
    Knowledge of composites, aircraft or helicopter structures, quality control, or dimensional inspection is advantageous.
    Proficiency with computer tools and software.
    Intermediate written English skills with the ability to work from customer specifications.
