Position Summary:
The NDT Inspector is responsible for carrying out non-destructive testing activities using Ultrasonics, Dye Penetrant Testing, and Magnetic Particle Testing across maintenance and manufacturing environments. The role involves managing inspection equipment, documentation, and reporting while delivering technical services at client sites in compliance with quality and safety standards. The position also offers opportunities to expand expertise into advanced NDT methods through continuous learning and development.
Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing using Ultrasonics (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Conduct inspections for maintenance and manufacturing activities across various industry sectors including petrochemical, naval, wind power, and manufacturing/workshops.
- Manage inspection equipment, test documentation, and intervention records.
- Prepare technical reports and inspection results documentation.
- Execute technical services at client sites in accordance with company quality and safety procedures.
- Develop additional competencies in advanced NDT methods such as Phased Array, TOFD, Guided Waves, IRIS, Eddy Currents, Far Fields, ACFM, MFL, Acoustic Emissions, and Sealing.
Qualifications:
- Technical background with a minimum of 3 years of experience in NDT inspections.
- Preferably holds one or more COFREND Level II certifications in UT, PT, or MT.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and sense of responsibility.
- Good technical writing and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of rigor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Rope access certification (IRATA, CASTC, or CQP) is an advantage.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel throughout France.
- Valid Category B driving license.
- Mobility and availability for field-based assignments.
