NDT Assistant Technician

Position Summary:

Aegeus Inspection Solutions is seeking an NDT Assistant Technician to join their team. This entry-level position requires no prior experience and offers comprehensive on-the-job training, making it an excellent opportunity to begin a long-term and rewarding career in nondestructive testing. The Assistant Technician will shadow and support a Level II Technician across various inspection methods, gaining exposure to multiple industries.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist Technicians in project execution and daily assigned tasks.
• Support Technicians with organizing and reporting inspection services provided.
• Prepare, set up, and complete required paperwork in compliance with client and company requirements.
• Establish boundaries and monitor surveillance of work areas, ensuring unauthorized personnel do not enter restricted zones.

Education and Work Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry-level role with minimal or no prior experience necessary.
• Experience in the NDT industry is desirable.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility will be verified at hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Certificates and Licenses Required:

• Must meet company requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Must be eligible for coverage under the company’s insurance program.
