Job Description:

We are seeking an Assistant to learn and perform all aspects of inspection services under the guidance of the Technician. As an Assistant, you will work with the Technician to ensure the successful execution of projects, including preparing and completing necessary paperwork, setting up work areas, and ensuring equipment and supplies are properly organized and replenished.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Technician in project execution and daily tasks as required.
  
• Help the Technician with organizing and reporting the services provided.
• Prepare, set up, and complete all necessary paperwork as required by client and company requirements.
• Set up boundaries and surveillance of work area, if required, and prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the work area.
• Follow and enforce company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
• Replenish and organize required supplies as needed to perform assigned methods.
• Ensure cleanliness of all work areas.
• Observe test procedures and product compliance to learn internal and industry specifications.
• Learn the procedures required to perform work and gain certification in the required NDT methods.
• Learn proper documentation processes required for NDT testing.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude toward both internal and external stakeholders.
• Enforce and abide by the requirements of safe operation and personal safety using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• This is an entry-level position with minimum or no experience required.
• Experience in the NDT industry is highly desirable.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
