Position Summary:
The NDT Assistant supports the inspection team in performing nondestructive testing (NDT) to evaluate the structural integrity of industrial components and systems. This position involves assisting certified radiographers and technicians with test preparation, equipment setup, calibration, and data recording, while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and operating nondestructive testing equipment.
- Support radiographers during calibration, testing, and inspection procedures.
- Conduct tests under supervision to detect discontinuities or defects using NDT methods.
- Record and document inspection results accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Carry, maintain, and organize inspection equipment and related materials.
- Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a clean and compliant work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Some college or technical training preferred.
- Experience & Skills:
- Technical background or familiarity with NDT processes preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures accurately.
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety.
- Must be able to meet Trustworthy & Reliable (T&R) requirements as per federal and state regulations, verified through a background check.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that meets company standards.
