Position Summary:-

Reporting to the Operation Manager or Project Manager, the NDE Technician participates in various customer projects and performs non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections according to customer requirements. The technician uses specialized equipment and software to conduct inspections and applies non-destructive examination techniques, including magnetic testing, ultrasonic testing, TOFD, and eddy current testing.

The NDE Technician supports projects across various sectors, including petrochemical, industrial, and nuclear markets. The position also contributes to the development of inspection techniques, testing procedures, and quality control while maintaining compliance with quality, health, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities:-

  • Plan and prepare interventions at customer sites, including the required materials and equipment.
  • Perform non-destructive examinations according to customer needs.
  • Use, calibrate, and adjust NDT instruments and equipment.
  • Analyze and interpret collected inspection data.
  • Participate in the development of NDT techniques and inspection methods.
  • Prepare and write reports following on-site inspections.
  • Participate in the development of non-destructive testing procedures and quality control activities.
  • Follow established procedures related to quality, health, and safety.
  • Report non-conformities and customer dissatisfaction when identified.

Qualifications:-

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of NDT equipment, including Ectane™, Omniscan®, TOPAZ®, ZIRCON®, and DYNARAY®.
  • Knowledge or experience with non-destructive examination techniques such as:
  • Magnetic testing.
  • Ultrasonic testing.
  • Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD).
  • Eddy current testing.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Availability to work overtime.

Requirements:-

  • Ability to participate in customer projects across petrochemical, industrial, and nuclear sectors.
  • Ability to work at customer sites and perform on-site NDT inspections.
  • Availability to work overtime as required.
