NDE Assistant

Position Summary:

• HMT is seeking a skilled NDE Assistant for call-out work to assist with Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle (MT) Testing, and Penetrant (PT) Testing in accordance with industry codes and customer requirements.
• The NDE Assistant will support inspection activities, collect and process inspection data, maintain safety standards, and help foster positive relationships with clients, facilities, and coworkers. The position requires travel of up to 20% or more and the ability to work safely at oil and gas facilities and field sites.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in performing Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle (MT) Testing, and Penetrant (PT) Testing.
• Collect and process data generated during inspections in accordance with HMT and customer procedures and requirements.
• Drive vehicles safely at oil and gas facilities and field sites.
• Use standard computer software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, facilities, customers, and coworkers.
• Promote a positive attitude toward coworkers.
• Follow all HMT safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Travel up to 20% or more as required.

Qualifications:

• Ability to assist with RT, MT, and PT inspection methods.
• Ability to pass HMT certification standards.
• Proficiency with standard computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Current driver's license from the state of residence.
• TWIC Card.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.

Requirements:

• Must pass DISA background screening.
• Must pass DISA drug and alcohol screening.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Must be able to safely drive a vehicle at oil and gas facilities and field sites.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% or more.
• Ability to comply with HMT safety policies and procedures.
