Position Summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking full-time Advanced NDE Technicians for a long-term project in Moses Lake, WA. This role involves performing independent non-destructive examinations (NDE) using advanced techniques such as Phased Array Ultrasonics (PAUT), Computed Radiography (CR), and Digital Radiography (DR). The technician will be responsible for detecting corrosion or defects, interpreting inspection results, and communicating findings to clients, while ensuring compliance with all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced NDE inspections (PAUT, CR, DR, ET) in accordance with written procedures and codes.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to company, customer, and legal safety regulations.
  • Interpret and report inspection results clearly and accurately.
  • Supervise apprentices and assist with their on-site development.
  • Ensure NDT certifications remain current and compliant.
  • Communicate inspection processes and results to clients professionally.
  • Follow TEAM’s Core Values and Seven Critical Choices in all job duties.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of NDT experience with Level II certification in at least one advanced method (UTPA, CR, DR, or ET).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and computerized equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation in English.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Valid driver's license (preferred).

Work Conditions

  • Indoor and outdoor work in plant environments with varying climate and noise levels.
  • Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients.
  • Must be capable of wearing required PPE for extended durations.
  • May be required to travel to multiple job sites daily and periodically out of town.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Capable of walking, climbing, stooping, and working at heights.
  • Visual and auditory acuity (with or without accommodation).
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and perform fieldwork.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and multitask effectively in dynamic environments.
