Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician

Position Summary

Acuren is actively seeking NDT Level II Technicians certified in Magnetic Particle (MT), Penetrant (PT), Ultrasonic Thickness (UTT), and/or Visual Testing (VT) for a travel-based/callout role in North Carolina. This is an opportunity to work across varied industrial environments including corn/agriculture, chemical plants, pulp & paper, gas plants, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment
• Perform inspections using NDT methods to detect discontinuities and ensure quality standards
• Establish and execute appropriate examination techniques in compliance with safety regulations
• Apply relevant testing standards, specifications, and evaluate results
• Interpret results from radiographs, CRT or digital displays, and inspection indicators
• Document and report all findings accurately
• Conduct specialized inspections as needed
• May be required to instruct or supervise junior personnel
• Execute additional duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
• Level II certification in one or more of the following: MT, PT, UTT, VT (CR/DR is a plus)
• Technical knowledge of NDT methods and standards
• Experience with report writing and data documentation
• Familiarity with various types of NDT equipment
• Strong analytical and interpretation skills for inspection results
