Multi-Cert NDT Level II

Position Summary:

The Multi-Cert NDT Technician is responsible for performing non-destructive testing inspections using RT, MT, PT, and UTT methods in an embedded role environment. The technician will conduct inspections, interpret results, maintain testing documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable specifications, standards, and safety regulations while supporting industrial asset integrity operations.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct inspections to identify defects or ensure quality using NDT methods
• Establish examination techniques while adhering to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria according to applicable specifications and standards
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators
• Organize, document, and report inspection results
• Perform specialized inspections as required
• May instruct or supervise other personnel
• Perform additional job-related duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college education preferred
• Certified Level II RT Technician
• Additional NDT certifications in MT, PT, or UTT considered an advantage
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to perform NDT inspections and interpret results effectively
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and inspection processes
• Experience in technical report writing

Requirements:

• Ability to work in outdoor environments with continuous physical effort
• Willingness to travel as required
• Ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 pounds
• Physical mobility for reaching, kneeling, crawling, bending, and crouching
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, or drive for extended durations
• Ability to work in varying environmental and physical conditions
