Ultrasonic NDT Technician

Position Summary:

MISTRAS Group SAS is seeking an Ultrasonic NDT Technician (Technicien CND Ultrasons) to join its workshop team in Le Creusot, France, on a permanent contract (CDI). Operating out of a 6,000 m² facility certified under EN 9100, NADCAP, and ISO 17025, the technician will perform non-destructive ultrasonic inspections primarily on components for aerospace, nuclear, energy, railway, and medical sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspections on components to detect internal flaws and defects in accordance with established specifications.
• Complete and compile all technical inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Adhere to workshop quality standards, NADCAP rules, safety guidelines, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain continuous shop floor flow.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Technical background or degree in non-destructive testing, materials science, or mechanical engineering.
• COSAC or CIFM Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 1 or Level 2 certification (or completion of training coursework leading to certification).
• Willingness and ability to work in a 3x8 shift rotation.
• Rigor, autonomy, and strong team spirit.
