Position Summary:

As a Level II Rope Access Technician at Precision NDT, LLC in Hobbs, NM, you will play a critical role in executing rope access tasks at elevated heights, performing inspections, and conducting maintenance and repair work. This position requires a deep understanding of rope access techniques, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute rope access tasks, including ascending and descending ropes, rigging, and performing work at elevated heights.
• Conduct inspections of equipment, structures, or facilities as per established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on various structures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of equipment and tools.
• Document all work performed, including inspection results and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, providing updates and reports as required.
• Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills related to rope access techniques and safety practices.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Level II Rope Access Technician or relevant rope access certification.
• Proficiency in rope access techniques, including ascending, descending, and rigging.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to established safety protocols.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks at elevated heights and in challenging conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Willingness to travel and work in different locations as required.
