Position Summary: 

ATS is actively seeking NDT Level II Technicians with RT experience, with a preference for those familiar with both Film and Digital methods, in compliance with NAS-410 standards. These positions will support our headquarters in Marietta, GA, with work taking place in Milford, NH. These roles are CONTRACT positions, offering competitive hourly pay and per diem.

Key Responsibilities/Duties: 

  • Conduct examinations of materials in adherence to procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Possess comprehensive familiarity with the methods for which they are qualified and take responsibility for On-the-Job Training (OJT) and the guidance of trainees.
  • Collaborate with department managers and clients to ascertain the scope of work and work priorities in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in preparing written instructions and organizing and reporting examination results.
  • Work independently and support team members.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as required and assigned by supervisors.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Level II RT Certification – Candidates must meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level II RT Technician per NAS-410 standards. They should provide documentation of education, training, and experience in the relevant NDT method(s). Knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes is essential, along with the ability to effectively communicate with other departments and customers to report issues and solve problems.
  • Experience in casting inspection with RT (Film and Digital experience is advantageous).
  • Additional NDT certifications, especially FPI per NAS410, are a plus but not mandatory.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful candidates must pass a drug screen and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

  • Candidates must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • Work at heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
  • Work in confined spaces that may require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
  • Work in and around operating equipment and industrial environments.
  • Handle radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film-developing chemicals, etc.
  • Be available for shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week, with the possibility of extended travel periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
