Position Summary
MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced CR/Film Level II Radiographers for full-time work in Jacksonville, FL. This is a long-term opportunity with competitive pay, benefits, and the potential for relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses. The successful candidate will conduct radiographic inspections using both computed radiography (CR) and traditional film techniques, in compliance with applicable codes and client specifications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $40 – $45 per hour
- Per Diem: $150/7 days

Key Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic testing equipment
- Perform CR and film-based radiographic testing in accordance with procedures and specifications
- Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results clearly and accurately
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
- Mentor and oversee the work of Level I technicians and trainees
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrate effective communication with team members, supervisors, and clients
- Efficiently plan and organize inspection activities in coordination with project demands
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Documentation of formal training hours in NDT (RT, UT, MT, or PT)
- Previous Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT), including CR and/or film methods
- Adequate documented on-the-job training (OJT) to meet SNT-TC-1A requirements for Level II certification
- Valid Industrial Radiographer Certification Card (required for all Radiographer roles)
- Completion of a 40-hour Radiation Safety Course (required for radiographers)

- In-depth knowledge of radiographic inspection methods, safety practices, and applicable codes
- Proficient in interpreting radiographic results and producing accurate reports
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work environments
- Effective oral and written communication
- Dependability, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capability to instruct and support lower-level technicians
Physical and Working Conditions
- Must be physically fit to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Must be capable of working outdoors in industrial environments and variable weather conditions
- Ability to work at height, navigate ladders and stairwells, and operate safely in confined spaces
- Must be willing to travel and work at multiple job sites if required
- Personal mobility and dexterity sufficient to conduct field radiography and access elevated platforms
- Required to wear appropriate PPE at all times
