Position Summary
TEAM Inc. is seeking a qualified Level II Phased Array Technician to independently perform advanced nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections using techniques such as Phased Array UT (UTPA), Computed Radiography (CR), Digital Radiography (DR), or Eddy Current Testing (ET). The technician will identify corrosion, defects, or other detrimental conditions according to specific written criteria, interpret results, and communicate findings to clients. The role also involves supervising apprentices on site and maintaining applicable certifications.
Essential Job Functions
- Adhere to company/customer safety standards and legal regulations, ensuring a safe work environment
- Supervise apprentices on-site
- Maintain and utilize advanced NDT certifications for inspections
- Perform and interpret NDT inspections and report findings accurately

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT as a certified technician in at least one advanced method
- Certified to Level II in UTPA, CR, DR, or ET
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and computerized equipment
- Strong communication and comprehension in English
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
Work Conditions
- Based at branch or site location
- Work involves indoor and outdoor environments within plant atmospheres
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- May involve working at multiple job sites in a day
- Tolerance for varying climates and occasional travel
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Capability to walk, climb, and access elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
