Level II NDT Technician

Position Summary:

Dynamic NDT is seeking an experienced and certified Level II NDT Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) using various methods, including but not limited to Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Radiographic Testing (RT). The Level II NDT Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of materials and components for their clients across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections using MT, PT, UT, RT, or other applicable NDT methods to detect defects and verify material integrity.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
• Analyze and interpret test results, generate accurate reports, and document findings in accordance with company and industry standards.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies during all inspections.
• Communicate inspection results and technical information clearly and professionally to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that all inspections meet client and industry standards for quality and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Level II certification in one or more NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) in accordance with ASNT or equivalent standards.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Level II NDT Technician.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Additional technical training in NDT is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret test results accurately and generate precise reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
