Job Title: GUL Level II Technician

Job Summary: The GUL Level II Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, interpreting readings, applying testing criteria, and documenting results through formal reports. This position requires familiarity with the scope and methods of NDT being used and includes providing guidance to Assistant Technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate tools and equipment to accomplish job assignments and meet client requirements
  • Interpret readings in real-time to determine areas of interest and apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications
  • Set up and calibrate all equipment used, interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports
  • Safely operate company vehicles and adhere to company safety regulations
  • Direct, mentor, and train personnel in NDT methods and techniques as certified and capable of
  • Provide guidance with codes, standards, and contractual documents controlling the method as utilized by the company and client
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and turned in on time, including safety forms, company-required forms, customer forms, and timesheets
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, and professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally
  • Follow and enforce company-required safe work practices and procedures at all times
  • Enforce and abide by the safe operation and personal safety requirements using required Personal Protective Equipment and Safe Practices per company policy
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Technical background in NDT methods and techniques preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years of NDT experience with full documentation of prior training, experience, and certification required
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
