Essential Job Functions:

• Collaborate with Project Managers or designated personnel to inspect specific coating applications for pipelines and facilities construction.
• Ensure procedures and materials align with contract specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Document construction inspections, contractor efforts, and materials employed in the project.
• Verify coating work compliance with specifications, plans, and codes.
• Oversee adherence to construction procedures and material specifications.
• Interpret plans and specs, discussing deviations with construction contractors.
• Monitor and document coating material quantities used.
• Prepare sketches for deviations from drawings.
• Verify compliance with regulations governing construction.
• Maintain a detailed log of construction and inspection activities, preparing daily progress reports.

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of oil and gas construction, inspection, or related experience (Preferred).
• 3+ years of pipeline and related facilities construction experience, including surface preparation and coating application.
• 1+ years inspecting prepared surfaces and applying coatings for conformance.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email).
• Current NACE CIP or CP Certification.
• API 1169 (Preferred).

• Skillfully communicate with supervisors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure suitable contract performance.
• Deliver excellent client service by adhering to specific requirements varying from project to project.
• Maintain positive relationships, clear communication, and effective problem-solving skills.
• Address client concerns promptly and attentively.
• Make recommendations to clients on complex situations.
• Maintain positive relations with clients, regulators, contractors' crews, and other project participants.
