Associate Test Technician

Position Summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking an Associate Test Technician to join its rapidly expanding team in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore. The Associate Test Technician will perform a range of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the assigned department, ensuring timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The position requires proficiency in core business practices, including adherence to safety protocols, compliance with the code of conduct, and following company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares material specimens for testing.
• Gathers and records test data accurately.
• Constructs and maintains various test fixtures and laboratory equipment.
• Works independently on assigned tasks with appropriate oversight.
• Demonstrates initiative in completing daily responsibilities efficiently and correctly without the need for constant direction.
• Reads and interprets customer specifications to perform required testing.
• Develops the ability to set up and execute a variety of tests according to customer specifications under the supervision and technical guidance of Senior/Principal Technicians.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education with relevant work experience in the construction sector.
• Basic understanding of testing concepts.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts is an advantage.
