Position Summary:
The AICIP/API Inspector is responsible for conducting statutory inspections and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client policies. The role involves preparing detailed inspection reports, supporting engineering teams, coordinating with NDT personnel, and contributing to shutdown planning activities. The inspector works closely with clients to identify areas for improvement and implement quality and compliance solutions within an onshore operational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct statutory inspections and provide detailed reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client policies.
- Provide feedback and technical assistance to the engineering department.
- Conduct audits and reviews of inspection activities.
- Liaise with NDT personnel to support inspection operations.
- Contribute to shutdown planning activities.
- Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with clients to implement solutions.
Qualifications:
- Current AICIP or Senior AICIP certification, or API 510 and API 570 certifications.
- IRATA Level 1 certification (IRATA Level 3 preferred).
- MSIC certification.
- NDT qualifications are highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge and experience in applicable inspection standards and statutory regulations.
- Demonstrated competency in relevant inspection methods.
- Must be currently based in Victoria, Australia, preferably in the Gippsland or Mornington regions.
- Ability to undergo full criminal and character background checks.
