Aerospace NDT Technician

Position Summary:

The Aerospace NDT Technician will perform Radiographic Testing (RT) and other nondestructive testing methods on aerospace materials and components. This role is suited for individuals with prior NDT experience who are eager to advance their skills and certifications within a global testing, inspection, and certification leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct radiographic inspections on materials, welds, and aerospace components.
• Apply and adhere to radiation safety protocols, including correct use of dosimeters, shielding, and exposure devices.
• Prepare, organize, and transport radiographic equipment safely in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Accurately document test results, observations, and daily activities under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Actively participate in company-sponsored training, classroom instruction, and on-the-job practice toward NDT Level I certification.
• Comply with company, OSHA, and NRC/Agreement State safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 1+ year of NDT experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in welding, mechanics, or related field preferred.
• Interest in pursuing a career in nondestructive testing and willingness to complete certification requirements.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work safely in industrial environments.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and computer skills for data entry and measurement calculations.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including radiation dosimetry badges.
• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, or crouching as required by inspection tasks.
