  • Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking highly skilled Advanced Services Inspectors to perform specialized nondestructive examinations using advanced inspection methods and technologies. The role is designed for experienced professionals with strong technical expertise across multiple inspection modalities. The inspector will lead inspection projects, analyze complex inspection data, provide technical recommendations, and serve as a subject matter expert while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

The position involves frequent client interaction, technical reporting, and field execution in industrial environments including refineries, petrochemical plants, pipelines, fabrication facilities, and related sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced NDE techniques in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes such as ASME, API, and AWS.
  • Operate and configure advanced inspection equipment and scanning systems.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze complex inspection data and prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Interface directly with clients and engineers to explain findings and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain proficiency in data acquisition software and digital reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians and assistants during advanced inspection activities.
  • Contribute to project planning, scan plan development, procedure development, and technique qualification reviews as required.
  • Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
  • Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards related to professionalism, integrity, and quality.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Multiple Conventional NDT Level II/III certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies.
  • Advanced certifications such as API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, CR/DR, AUT PA-UT, or UTSW.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP certification, or State Industrial Radiographer Card where applicable.
  • Prior experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background checks.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to provide documentation supporting Team Level II qualifications/certifications in accordance with TEAM’s written practice and certification requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel, work extended hours, and perform duties in field environments including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and safety-first mindset.
  • Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to maneuver within refinery, plant, and industrial environments, including climbing ladders and stairwells.
  • Sufficient speech, hearing, vision, and manual dexterity to safely perform inspections and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain focus, multitask, and travel to off-site locations as needed.

Work Conditions:

  • Work is performed from TEAM field offices and client sites.
  • Duties require indoor and outdoor work in plant and industrial environments.
  • Exposure to production machinery and extreme noise levels.
  • Ability to wear required safety equipment and PPE.
  • May involve multiple job sites in a single day and varying climate conditions.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, alternative schedules, heights, and confined spaces.
