Position Summary:

TEAM, Inc. is seeking highly skilled Advanced Services Inspectors to perform specialized nondestructive examinations using advanced inspection methods and techniques. This role is designed for experienced professionals with strong technical backgrounds across multiple inspection modalities. Inspectors will lead inspection scopes, analyze complex data, and serve as subject matter experts while executing work with a high level of safety, accuracy, and technical performance. The position involves frequent client interaction, detailed data reporting, and field-based technical execution using advanced inspection technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced NDE techniques in accordance with TEAM procedures, client specifications, and applicable industry codes and standards (including ASME, API, AWS).
  • Operate, configure, and apply advanced inspection equipment and scanning systems.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze complex inspection data and prepare accurate, detailed reports and technical recommendations.
  • Interface directly with clients and engineers to explain inspection findings and confirm completion of mission-critical objectives.
  • Maintain proficiency with data acquisition software and digital reporting platforms.
  • Supervise and mentor junior technicians or assistants during advanced inspection setups and field activities.
  • Contribute to project planning, scan plans, procedure development, and technique qualification reviews as required.
  • Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
  • Uphold industry codes and TEAM standards related to professionalism, integrity, and quality.

Qualifications:

Required Qualification:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other required site access credentials.
  • Ability to provide documentation supporting one or more TEAM Level II qualifications or certifications in accordance with TEAM’s written practice and certification schema.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate inspection results to peers, clients, and supervisors.
  • Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multiple conventional NDT Level II or Level III certifications, or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalents.
  • Advanced certifications including API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, CR/DR, AUT, PA-UT, or UTSW.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP, or State Industrial Radiographer Card (when applicable to RT).
  • Prior experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to access elevated platforms using ladders and stairwells and maneuver within refinery or plant environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through sufficient speech, hearing, and vision, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity and physical mobility to perform field, office, and travel-related duties.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor plant environments with extreme noise levels.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts, weekends, alternative schedules, and travel out of town periodically.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and across varying environmental and climate conditions.
