This comprehensive program equips participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to confidently navigate the complexities of phased array inspection processes.

Throughout the course, participants will receive in-depth training in the principles of phased array inspection, covering key areas such as probe design, scanning techniques, focusing and beam steering, phased array instruments, instrument setup, element checks and calibration, data resolution and collection, software familiarity, and data analysis. This broad curriculum ensures a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in phased array inspections.

To solidify their learning and showcase their capabilities, students will engage in hands-on exercises that demonstrate the power and imaging displays of phased arrays. Opportunities for individual setups may also be provided to enhance practical experience and customization.

The training will be conducted using the state-of-the-art Olympus NDT - OmniScan MX2 equipment, ensuring participants gain proficiency in industry-standard tools.

Moreover, students are encouraged to bring along their own phased array equipment, if available, as well as samples of defective specimens for evaluation.
