Course Description:

Lavender International's Radiography Testing Welds Level 2 training program covers an extensive range of theoretical and practical knowledge. This program is designed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the principles of radiography, image formation, and quality assessment in the context of welding.

The course syllabus starts with the general theory, covering topics such as the principles of radiography, image formation, and fundamental aspects of radiographic quality. Participants will also learn about radiation safety, protection, and exposure factors. The program then delves deeper into techniques, radiographic interpretation, and product technology. Participants will learn about basic welding processes, fabrication defects, in-service defects, stress relieving, and normalizing.

In addition, the course covers specific theory, which involves the application of the method to the specific requirements of Lavender International NDT Consultancy Services Ltd. Participants will refer to codes, specifications, procedures, and acceptance criteria used by Lavender International NDT Consultancy Services Ltd, including relevant control checks.

The Radiographic testing training program is suitable for PCN GEN – BS EN ISO 9712 Levels 1, 2, and 3, ASNT Level 3, and candidates working in an employer written practice based on SNT-TC-1A; EN4179 and NAS410. Radiographic Testing is separated into two specific product sectors for certification at Levels 1 and 2; Welds and Castings.

Upon completion of the Radiography Testing Welds Level 2 training program, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of radiography principles and techniques, the ability to identify defects in welds, and interpret radiographic images accurately.
