Course Description:
This advanced qualification is designed for candidates who already hold BGAS-CSWIP grades 3 and 2 in painting/painting inspection and are interested in offshore projects.
The course covers a range of topics, including:
- Offshore structures and zones
- Offshore working practices
- Offshore safety measures and emergency procedures
- Permit-to-work systems
- Vessel entry and enclosed space working
- Fire protection
- Safety signs and colors according to BS 5378
- Pipeline identification as per BS 1710
- Finish color schedules BS381C and BS4800.
By completing this course, candidates will gain comprehensive knowledge and skills required to succeed in offshore painting and painting inspection projects.
