Course Description:

ACFM Level 3 training at Lavender International is an advanced course designed to provide candidates with a thorough understanding of the complexities of electromagnetic testing. The course emphasizes the analysis and evaluation of data in accordance with existing standards and procedures, utilizing candidates' practical knowledge of materials, fabrication, and in-service conditions. This training is intended for experienced operators seeking to progress to Level 3 ACFM and take responsibility for developing procedures covering advanced applications.

The ACFM Level 3 training at Lavender International covers the following topics:

• Advanced electromagnetic theory and principles
• Application of ACFM techniques in various industrial sectors
• Creation of custom probe configurations to detect ferrous and non-ferrous materials
• Use of conventional probes, rigid body, and conformable arrays
• Signal analysis of simple and complex defects, including strong geometrical effects
• Preparation of in-depth ACFM procedures

Our ACFM training and examinations are suitable for PCN/EN473/ISO 9712 Levels 1, 2, and 3. The ACFM Level 3 course is a 4-day training program with a 1-day examination. Our facility is located in Sheffield, UK.
