WENS Technical & Occupational Skills Training LLC, established in Dubai, UAE in 2014, is a leading provider of training and certification in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). As an approved institution by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai, we offer NDT Level I, II, and III training services in line with the PCN Scheme, conforming to ISO 9712.
Our Certification Body, the British Institute of Non-destructive Testing (BINDT), is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS). WENS has been authorized as an Approved Training Organization (ATO) and Authorized Qualification Body (AQB) to conduct PCN Level 1, 2, and 3 NDT Certification programs.
In addition, we hold certification from URS to operate a Quality Management System that meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for the provision of Training and Examination of NDT Personnel.
We also offer a Radiation Safety Training course that fulfills the training requirements set forth by the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulations (FANR - REG - 24), RG 006, RG 007, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA - SSG46), and Pub 20.

Ultrasonic Testing Welds (Plate) - Level I
This method employs high-frequency sound pulses that are emitted from a transducer; this sound wave is induced into the material through a probe which is usually in contact with the material. These sound waves propagate through the material and are reflected to the probe when they reach an interface. The reflected waves are transmitted back through the probe and connecting leads to a detector which can be either analog or digital. The sound waves are then displayed as a series of signals on a monitor and the qualified inspector can measure and interpret these signals to allow accurate evaluation of the internal structure of the material.
