INTRODUCTION

TST Steel Cord Conveyor Belt Tester (Mobile) is used for mobile online monitoring and inspection of operating steel cord conveyor belts for cord damages/deformation/deterioration and splice damages/shift without interrupting the production. A mobile system is particular suitable for inspection companies to implement 3rd party inspection service for belts or clients with multiple short-length belts in a conveying system. The mobile system can be easily and fast deployed for tasks on multiple targets. Inspection report and cord/splice track records with detailed belt cord information marking the position and defect severity/deterioration process are generated in both diagram and statistical table formats. Applications of belt online inspection include bulk material handling in open-pit/underground mining, cement and port industries.

BENEFITS & FEATURES

▪Fast and mobile inspection
▪Improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and safety of belt operation
▪Reduction in waste and over usage belt.
▪Reduction in maintenance downtime
▪Reduction in splicing costs
▪Reduction in vulcanizing costs
▪Reduction in belt maintenance related labor costs
▪Reduction in unplanned shutdowns
▪Reduction of manmade errors and inspection uncertainty
▪Enhancement in belt related decision making process

PERFORMANCE

▪Multi-Task Mobile Inspection - The mobile system can be deployed for multiple inspection targets on different tasks with simple installation and uninstallation process.

▪Qualitative & Quantitative Inspection - The tester is able to inspect the cord and splice defects and determine the detect types, such as broken cord, broken wire, splice shift etc. Moreover, the tester can gauge the respective detect values and severity with respect to number of cord damages and scale of splice shifts and the positions of such defects.

▪Automation - TST Steel Cord Conveyor Belt Tester (Online) is designed to make automatic monitoring, inspection, alarming and reporting for operating conveyor belts in 24/7. Alarms and key event report can be sent to supervisors in real time with SMS/email under unmanned condition.
