ROHMANN is a leading German manufacturer of eddy current testing equipment and systems for non-destructive material testing (NDT). For over 45 years, we have been developing, producing and selling our technology as a medium-sized family business based in Frankenthal, Palatinate. Today, our test equipment and systems are used worldwide in crack, heat treatment, material mix-up and grinding fire testing. A “remote” version of the ELOTEST\PL600, equipped with an identical hardware configuration, but without a user interface, is available for specific needs. ELOTEST\PL600 R, 19“ casing with 15 free slots for additional modules, ELOTEST\PL600 RC, in half of a 19“ casing with 6 free slots for additional modules. The Eddy Current devices are used with a computer software under Windows or Linux. Without a computer connected via HDMI + USB to a touch display or a standard display with a mouse.

ELO\WHEEL – RPT17 Rim Testing System

Rohmann GmbH is continuously developing the EloWheel testing system for the MRO sector. The rapidity of the inspection, the sensitivity of the defect search, the resolution and the reliability as well as the flexibility in the adaptation to different requirements are the key benefits of the inspection system.

By using a dual probe, this eddy current test system makes it possible to inspect aircraft wheel rims for the detection of cracks on the surface and also defects inside the material at the same time. The user-friendly interface is integrated into the tried and tested EloWheel evaluation software and its arrangement is perfect for inspecting wheel rim halves quickly and safely for different types of defects.
