Inspection Plug Strategies, LLC have produced quality inspection ports for the NDT industry since the mid-1990s through the combined experience of our former company Inspection Port Systems, Inc. and Inspection Plug Strategies, LLC.

Inspection Plug Strategies L.L.C. was formed to continue the production of these products and later patented the designs of Inspection Plug Strategies, LLC. The headquarters is conveniently and centrally located in Houston, TX.

Marie Counts-Bradley, the Chief Executive Officer of Inspection Plug Strategies, L.L.C., began her career in the refractory and insulation industries, later moving into inspection and reliability. She has worked closely with specification engineers, contractors and distributors. Meeting the specialized requirements of facilities in the petroleum refining, chemical, paper, and power industries, she has provided expertise to the inspection and insulation professionals. Marie patented and marketed the successful, well known products of Inspection Port Systems, Inc. which operated for more than a decade.

Inspection Point Labels

Inspection Point Labels are specially designed to identify Thickness Measurement Locations (TMLs) on non-insulated piping and vessels. Our UTL2, UTL3 and UTL4 inspection labels have protected write-on areas for recording TML numbers, line numbers, etc. All labels are UV-stable and resistant to most solvents, oils and household chemicals.

UTL 1 and 5 Label Description

Labels are 2.2 Mat silver polyester with red ink color and coated with a clear lamination for protection. This high-performance adhesive provides a strong bond on metal, plastic and painted surfaces, and is chloride and fluoride-free.

UTL 2, 3 and 4 Label Description

Labels are of soft tempered matte clear sealed anodized aluminium foil. The anodizing process produces a coating that is sapphire hard, transparent, static resistant, and integral to the aluminium surface. The 3M #200 adhesive provides a strong bond on metal, plastic and painted surfaces and is chloride and fluoride-free. They have self-laminating clear plastic flaps to permanently seal written information. Service temperature: -50° to 350°F.

Carbide Grit Edge Hole Saws are made of tungsten carbide particles bonded to alloy steel for cutting extremely hard and abrasive materials. Recommended for stainless steel jacketing. Resists snagging.

Bi-Metal Hole Saws are of heavy-duty bi-metal construction for longer service life. 4/6 variable tooth provides faster, smoother cuts. Recommended for aluminium jacketing.
