Overview
When you need to test, choose GGS.
Gamma Graphics Services (GGS) provides Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) evaluations of piping and vessels. They test all piping with Radiometric Profiling (RP), a rapid-scanning technology that is safe for your staff and your system. Piping is tested at rate of 150+/- locations per day ‘as is’ without removing or cutting holes in jacketing or insulation. This testing method poses zero radiation exposure liability so they can test your system during normal business hours without interruption. They find, measure and report on vessel and pipe corrosion, wall thickness, wall loss, wet insulation, pipe size and schedule, welds and more.
For 20+ years, system engineers, operators, facility and safety managers, contractors and consultants have entrusted us to deliver conclusive, diagnostic evaluations. The stability and underlying weaknesses in your system are revealed, measured and recorded. Their process and comprehensive reporting will equip you with the information you need for PSM & RMP compliance, risk mitigation, maintenance prioritization and more.
Their flexible service options promise the same unique benefits for any system size or scope. Quoting is quick and easy, contact GGS today to learn more.
Products & Services
Non-Destructive Testing
Every day, they are in the field helping companies learn the health of their piping systems with their non-destructive testing services.
The non-destructive testing services we provide are a conclusive, diagnostic complement to your ongoing visual inspections. Whether you are performing a routine maintenance assessment, or repairing a critical failure, you can count on their NDT services to be consistent, accurate and effective.
Weaknesses in your system may be hidden under insulation, concealed inside pipe walls, or located in tough-to-reach spots. For this reason, GGS uses the most nimble and sensitive NDT technologies available today. As a result, they can detect even the tiniest abnormalities on bare, insulated, nested and suspended piping.
The stability and underlying weaknesses in your system are revealed, measured and recorded. Their process and deliverables provide what you need to meet the requirements outlined by both OSHA and EPA.
Piping is tested with Radiometric Profiling (RP) technology. This advanced method does not require us to cut holes in insulation or interrupt operations. It also provides the most amount of detail on your piping, bare and under insulation, in record time.
Large vessels are tested with Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UT or UTT) technology. UTT allows us to determine the wall thickness and evidence of corrosion on your vessels. Detailed vessel fitness data will allow you to make informed decisions.
GGS field technicians are experts in disciplined, multi-method applications. Further, they are trained in industry-specific environments, as each is unique and presents its own challenges and characteristics.
Their customers include facility and safety managers, operators, engineers, technicians, contractors and consultants across multiple industries in the US and abroad.
