The SigmaCheck2 ET Conductivity meets the requirements for conductivity measurements in the Aircraft manufacture and maintenance fields where conductivity measurements are used to verify proper alloy/temper or detect heat damaged components. The SigmaCheck2 Eddy Current Conductivity Meter is also useful to determine the purity of precious metals (counterfeit detection) such as gold bullion and coins.

Standard Eddy Current NDT Probes

We know how long winded Probe Catalogues can be so we have split ours into different probe types to make it quicker for you to find the probe you need. We have also produced a Short Probe Catalogue which contains all the most commonly used probes that you use on a regular basis.

If you don’t see something here to meet you requirements please visit our Eddy Current (EC) Special Probes page or fill in our Special Probe Design Check Listand send it to sales@ethernde.com where we will be more than happy to assist you.

Pencil Probes
At ETher NDE we design and manufacturer all our Eddy Current (ECT) probes in house and with the ability to design your probes to the exact non-destructive testing (NDT) application you have, even the 'simple' Pencil Probe becomes specific to you.
With the most common Eddy Current (EC) Pencil Probes available 'on-stock', we can promise you rapid delivery on these Probes, meaning that you can be back to inspecting in the fastest possible time.

Thread Inspection Probes
Thread Inspection Probes are designed for use in the inspection of internal and external thread sections. Chisel and pointed tips make them ideal for detecting cracks propagating in the root areas.

Broad Band Probes
Eddy Current (ECT) Broad Band Probes are extremely versatile and work within many applications within Non-destructive Testing (NDT). Designed as a heavy-duty range of probes that can be used for general industrial use with impedance plane instruments only.

Rotating Probes
Rotating Probes (Reflection) are available in two options, Rigid Stainless Steel and Delrin Flexible. Rigid stainless steel probes offer high wear resistance, where as the flexible probes are used where hole tolerances are poor and access is not directly in-line with the hole.

Weld Probes
ETher NDE can offer a broad range of Eddy Current (ECT) Weld Probes including specially designed Eddy Current (EC) Weld Probes to your specification.
Eddy Current Weld Probes are specifically designed for the task of weld inspection of non-ferrous welds and steel structures. They can detect surface cracks on a weld with a non-conductive surface coating on it of up to 2mm.

Internal Diameter Probes
Our range of ID Probes are designed hand in hand with our Cables to offer the best options when working in the field. With our Dis-connectable Cables if either the Probe or Cable fails, the operator can easily swap them for another and carry on with their inspection reducing interruption to their inspection and the cost of having to replace both the Probe and Cable.

Surface Inspection Probes
For general purpose inspection of sub-surface corrosion and flaws.
This probe has excellent depth penetration making it ideal for multi-layer inspections with a broad frequency ranges, excellent low frequency performance, integrated 4-way Lemo connector and built in balance coils.

Sliding Probes
Typically used on aircraft wings (and on other similar structures) to detect cracks and corrosion on or near the surface around fasteners and in deeper layers under the skins.
The above probes either slide along or over rows of fasteners.
