Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing(PAUT)
Phased Array is our specialty.
Experienced in testing ASME Welds (Piping, Vessels, Boiler Tubes), Corrosion mapping, HIC Scanning, Total Focusing Method (TFM), And many other applications. Phased array provides a lot more information than traditional ultrasonics including encoding data for permanent repeatable results, beam steering, and beam focusing capabilities.

Time Of Flight Diffraction (TOFD)
TOFD is an extremely accurate ultrasonic tool for measuring the vertical extent of a defect. TOFD helps verify real indications from geometric signals and is also more sensitive to volumetric flaws than traditional ultrasonics or Phased Array. TOFD is best used with another ultrasonic technique such as a Phased Array.
