SONOTEC BS40 : Broadband Structure-Borne Sound Sensor

With Our Innovative Ultrasonic Testing Solutions You Can Easily Identify Bearing Faults and Check Lubrication Level of Your Assets

A regular condition-based monitoring of bearings is a Must-have for a successful preventive maintenance program. Our new broadband structure-borne sound sensor BS40 helps to detect even small bearings faults at the earliest possible point. Furthermore, it precisely determines the lubrication status of your critical assets. Avoid unplanned downtime and increase your equipment reliability and availability with our testing ultrasonic devices

The BS40 is used in conjunction with the portable SONAPHONE® ultrasonic testing device in the following fields of application:

  • Condition monitoring of rotating parts of machines
  • Monitoring of failures and lubrication status at roller bearings

Advantages at a Glance

  • Perfect for confined spaces (only half the size of BS20)
  • Frequency range: 20 kHz to 100 kHz
  • Optimized frequency response in the range from 10 kHz to 65 kHz
  • Hardware filter high-pass (< 1 kHz) for more flexibility in machine diagnostics
  • Robust, stainless steel housing (laser welded)
  • Improved EMC stability incl. shielded cable
  • Maximum flexibility due to standard threaded pin, e.g. magnets or adhesive pads with internal thread ¼"-28 UNF
  • Proven transducer principle retained in the form of piezocomposite

Our innovative ultrasonic testing devices provide you with essential information to enhance the performance of your critical equipment.
