Position Summary:
Acuren Inspection is currently seeking Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) to play a crucial role in supporting upcoming turnarounds. We highly value additional API 510/570 certifications, as they will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of welding activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Verify welding documentation, procedures, and welder qualifications.
- Monitor and evaluate welding processes and procedures for safety and efficiency.
- Identify and report any welding defects or issues, taking necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure quality control.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
- Additional API 510/570 certifications are a strong plus.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in welding inspection.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
