Position Summary:

Acuren Inspection is currently seeking Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) to play a crucial role in supporting upcoming turnarounds. We highly value additional API 510/570 certifications, as they will be considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of welding activities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Verify welding documentation, procedures, and welder qualifications.
• Monitor and evaluate welding processes and procedures for safety and efficiency.
• Identify and report any welding defects or issues, taking necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure quality control.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
• Stay current with industry codes, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification.
• Additional API 510/570 certifications are a strong plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proven experience in welding inspection.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
