Job Description:

Position: Rope Access Services Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rope Access Services Department Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will preferably hold an IRATA Level 3 certification and possess a strong background in managing a business unit following IRATA guidelines. As the Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Rope Access Services Department, including operational and financial performance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Rope Access Services Department, ensuring efficient and effective operations in line with IRATA guidelines.
• Utilize your expertise and IRATA Level 3 certification to provide technical guidance and support to the team.
• Develop and implement departmental strategies and initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Take full ownership of the Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility for the department, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Foster a culture of safety, adherence to best practices, and compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise department staff, promoting their professional development and performance excellence.
• Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to cultivate strong relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to proactively adapt strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Requirements:

• Possession of IRATA Level 3 certification is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully managing a business unit following IRATA guidelines.
• Proven track record in P&L management, with the ability to drive financial performance and achieve targets.
• In-depth knowledge of rope access techniques, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
