Position Summary:

Clarity NDT Limited, a prominent provider of non-destructive testing services, is expanding its team and seeking a skilled NDT Technician. This full-time role involves performing non-destructive testing on welds and castings, contributing to the company's commitment to delivering high-quality services across various sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct radiographic testing of welds and castings.
  • Utilize X-rays and gamma rays for testing welds and castings, following company procedures and customer specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, company procedures, and work instructions.
  • Interpret and evaluate results against acceptance standards and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year in non-destructive testing (NDT), with specific experience in radiography of weldments and/or castings.
  • Any NDT qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with techniques used for evaluations is advantageous.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday / Sunday to Thursday, rotating between 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm, and 10 pm to 6 am.
  • 37.5 hours a week.

Salary:

  • £23,100 - £34,800 per year.
