Job Summary:
Taylor NDT is seeking qualified PCN Level 2 Technicians skilled in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT) for wrought and forgings, along with expertise in standards 3.1, 3.7, and 3.8. As a member of our close-knit family-owned firm, you will play an integral role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. This role offers competitive pay rates, substantial bonus opportunities, and profit sharing, with a base salary range of £48,000 to £55,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT) techniques on wrought materials and forgings.
- Utilize your expertise in standards 3.1, 3.7, and 3.8 to perform accurate inspections and evaluations.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure the integrity and quality of our products, upholding our family-owned firm's values.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports detailing findings, methods used, and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
- Maintain equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Required Qualifications:
- PCN Level 2 certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), and Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Proven experience working with wrought materials and forgings.
- Expertise in standards 3.1, 3.7, and 3.8.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in NDT inspections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
