Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the focal point between On and Offshore Oceaneering IMDS and client project teams to ensure planning, scheduling, inspection, and safety contractual deliverables are met.
- Compile summary reports for project teams.
- Review inspection reports for technical and quality standards and provide sign-off on completion.
- Supervise and direct NDT Inspection and Rope Access Inspection personnel, ensuring operational efficiency and safety standards are maintained.
- Continuously seek to improve safe systems and work methods.
- Maintain contact with clients, build relationships, and promote the company's interests.
- Ensure proper maintenance and certification of inspection and rope access equipment.
- Review and complete all relevant paperwork in Rope Access work packs.
- Supervise NDT inspection techniques, interpret results, and produce clear and concise inspection reports.
- Keep abreast of onshore rope access documentation and advancements.
- Attend safety meetings and liaise with Inspection SME and Rope Access Manager for training requirements.
Non-Essential Functions:
- Assist with additional duties as required.
- Undertake specific projects as instructed by management.
Safety:
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate actively in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Other:
- Work with the company's Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems.
- Contribute to environmental improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- IRATA Level 3 Certification.
- PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - UT Level 2 - Ultrasonic Testing.
- PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - MT Level 2 - Magnetic Particle Testing.
- PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - PT Level 2 - Dye/Liquid Penetrant Testing.
- PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - RT Level 1 - Radiographic Testing.
- Offshore medical, BOSIET / Offshore Survival certification.
- Confined Space Entry training.
Desired Qualifications:
- PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - ET Level 2 - Eddy Current Testing.
- PCN / CSWIP / ASNT - VT Level 2 - Visual Inspection.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Characteristics:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English reading and writing.
- Minimum 10 years of Inspection experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.
- Five years of experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry utilizing Rope Access.
- Minimum 10-year NDT experience.
- Certified Level II in NDT disciplines UT, RT, PT, MT.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Level 3.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of corrosion mechanisms and monitoring.
- Knowledge of QA/QC systems/procedures and NDT techniques.
- Previous experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
Working Conditions:
- Work outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions.
- Work on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.
- High humidity and noise levels.
- Potential exposure to fire/flames/sparks and airborne dust, fumes, and gases.
- Stable work surface, elevated height, and radiation exposure.
Physical Activity/Requirements:
- Medium work level with occasional, frequent, and constant physical demands.
