Tube Testing Technician

Position Summary:

Applus Pty Ltd, a division of an international inspection company, is seeking a skilled Tube Testing Technician to join their core crew based out of our head office in Bibra Lake, Perth. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work across high-profile sites throughout Australia and locally in Perth. The successful candidate will be part of a team of high-calibre technicians working under an industry-leading EBA, ensuring the quality and integrity of industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform tube testing using advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to ensure the quality and integrity of industrial facilities.
• Carry out inspections across various high-profile work sites in Australia, as well as local sites in Perth.
• Utilize ET (Eddy Current Testing), IRIS (Internal Rotary Inspection System), and NFA (Near Field Array) methods for inspections.
• Work collaboratively with a team of experienced technicians to deliver high-quality inspection services.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and report findings to supervisors and clients.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 certification in Eddy Current Testing (ET) (PCN/AINDT).
• Certification in Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS).
• Certification in Near Field Array (NFA).
• Additional certifications in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) are desirable.
• Must be currently based in Perth, WA.
