RT Technicians

Position Summary:

American Piping Inspection has immediate job openings for full-time RT Technicians in Sulphur, LA. The RT Technician will be responsible for performing radiographic testing to ensure the integrity and quality of piping and related components. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards, as well as effective communication with team members and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic testing on piping and related components.
• Set up and calibrate radiographic testing equipment.
• Interpret radiographs and report findings accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and test results.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Conduct inspections in accordance with written procedures and specifications.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company safety policies.

Requirements:

• Valid TWIC Card.
• Ability to pass urine and hair follicle drug testing.
• Ability to pass background testing.
• Valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in radiographic testing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of NDT methods and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret test results accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
