RT Technicians

Position Summary:

American Piping Inspection is currently hiring full-time RT Technicians and Assistants in Sulphur, LA. They are seeking qualified individuals to join their team immediately, offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. The RT Technician will be responsible for conducting radiographic testing to ensure the quality and integrity of welds and other materials. We are also looking for state-carded assistants, Level II RT Techs for weld quality and digital radiography, and Level II PT/MT/UTT Techs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic testing on welds and other materials to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic testing equipment.
• Interpret radiographic images and provide accurate reports of findings.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods as required, including PT, MT, and UTT.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

Requirements:

• Valid TWIC Card.
• Ability to pass urine and hair follicle drug testing.
• Ability to pass background testing.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in radiographic testing or related NDT methods is preferred.
